Left, right, forward, left, forward, back, right, forward, left, right, back, forward. Yes, it’s time to tango (preferably with some style, not like that first sentence). Peter Stefanics and Michalina Patrzalek are starting a two-month beginner-level Argentine Tango course (in English) at the Hölgyválasz Dance Studio, starting from September 15.
Those of us who’ve been putting off learning to tango, telling our partners that we’d never understand the instructions in Hungarian anyway, have no more excuses. Argentine Tango is a social dance which bonds people together, creating tango communities. Therefore, this crash course focuses on getting students to join the community and go out for milongas (“tango dance parties”). Embrace your partner and embrace the Argentine Tango.
