Saint Michael’s Church was built in the baroque style in 1765, and the original frescoes can still be seen in the sanctuary. Among its many beautiful relics, the church has one of the oldest organs of Budapest (ca. 1893). Summer visitors can take advantage of a cooling and calming escape from the sights, with excellent choral, chamber and classical music.
Tickets are available at the Church Shop, at the Libri and Rózsavölgyi bookshops and on the Internet: www.jegyelado.hu. Budapest Card holders get a 20% discount.
