Spring Festival Exhibitions at Csók and Mednyánszky Galleries

As a part of this year’s Renaissance themed Spring Festival, Képcsarnok presents an exhibition at Csók Gallery loosely translated as “Little Hungarian Quattrocento – Contemporary Artists and the Dawn of the Modern World”.

In the “new realism” style, these paintings display strict perspective and composition, with simpler illustrations representative of 14th century Florentine painting.

At the same time, Képcsarnok is presenting “Encounter of Worlds” at Mednyánszky Gallery, which demonstrates the two main streams of contemporary art – concrete and symbolic, naturalist and abstract – by pairing old masters with young upstarts.
