Party Like a Rock Star!

It’s Sziget time, so all week we’ll be at the festival grabbing some performers, other musicians and a few other faces to find out what advice they had for Sziget-goers. We’re after some unusual or useful advice to help you lovely lot wring the most Sziget goodness from this happy week! They’ve seen their fair share of festivals, so they should know what they’re talking about. It’s still only Thursday, so there’ll be more to come… See you on the island!

Atilla Kaszap, viola player of Goulasch Exotica, FolkError and Bivaly Zenekar.

“Everyone should have a rest, go out from the island and visit Kobuci Kert, next to the Sziget fesztival. The entry is free, so it’s not a risk to try it. It’s special for its homemade syrups, cocktails and food, and you can catch festival acts and more, including Carroll And The Mississippi Grave Diggers, Besh o droM and others.”

Károly Gerendai, one of the founders of the Sziget Festival.

“Just be open-minded”

Balász Zsager (of Zagar and Demon Superior). Zagar will be performing on Wednesday 12th at the WAN2-A38 Stage at 1 a.m. and Demon Superior will be performing on the meduza-PÉCS2010 stage on Saturday 15th at midnight

“First of all go see the Zagar gig, the Demon Superior live act, Dj Bootsie Quartet, Virgács Andor and The Puzzle. Catch some cult programs, theatrical and other interesting performances between two fröccs. Dance till dawn when the first sunshine is coming up and the DJ puts on the last record. Don’t hesitate to meet and talk to people from different countries. Finally, just simply walk around and feel the collective subconscious vibe of the colorful youth.”
