Ludwig Musem – Stars on Every Level!

The Ludwig Museum has prepared a schedule of unconventional programs for the Night of Museums that will appeal to those interested in contemporary fine arts.

The title, Stars on Every Level, reflects the fact that from the afternoon visitors can meet defining representatives of the fine arts, dance and theater throughout the entire museum.

6 p.m.-8 p.m.: Portrait of the Unknown Pedestrian
Presentation by Frances Morris, head of the TATE Modern’s Collection of International Arts on artist Braco Dimitrijević

8 p.m.-9 p.m.: Make an Installation for adults… Bring a box of matches with you!

8:15 p.m.-8:30 p.m.: Authentic Indian Temple Dance: The Dream of Maharaja

8:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.: The Maharaja’s Shrine
Indian music in the exhibit hall

9 p.m.-10 p.m.: Tour of Braco Dimitrijević’s retrospective exhibition
Led by Lóránd Hegyi, Director of Saint Etienne Museum

10 p.m.,11 p.m., midnight & 1 a.m.: The Room Turned Inside Out, or People Plants in the Living Room
Performance by the Artus Company

11 p.m.-midnight: Two for One…

Joint tour led by Barnabás Bencsik, Museum Director and Róbert Alföldi, Director of the National Theater

11 p.m.-2 a.m.: The Worst Exhibit Opening and Guided Tour
Performed by the TÁP Theater
