Pecha Kucha Night and Party

Pecha what? We hear you ask. Well, what sushi is to foodies, or sumo is to sport, Pecha Kucha is to architecture and design. Pecha Kucha nights are organized in 200 cities worldwide, based upon the original Tokyo idea of providing a platform for architects, designers and artists to introduce their work. The secret of the brief, focused and engaging presentations lies in the night’s onew and only rule: presenters can show 20 pictures, each for 20 seconds. The tittle-tattle will be followed by a DJ set from 11 p.m.

WAMP design fair

This month’s WAMP design fair will take place at the Museum of Applied Arts, featuring a range of Hungarian and Scandinavian design. Fresh talents will showcase their work, and, as ever, there’ll be design books and other products for sale, as well as chillout tunes – courtesy of DJ Hanglemezbarát. There’ll also be a children’s corner, where mini-designers can get creative.
