Curious visitors can get right up close to the creations of leading contemporary Hungarian haute couture designers on the catwalk or compare the works of said designers with their early 20th century counterparts in a minor exhibition.
On Midsummer Night’s Eve, it’s all about fashion in the Kiscelli Museum. The fin de siècle atmosphere will be completed by a lecture in fashion history, a photo exhibition, a dance show and the re-creation of a typical café of that period. There will also be a beauty fair in the outer courtyard, with cosmetics samples, free make-up styling and consultations for all visitors.
