It is becoming clear that Budapest is ripe with young talent in the world of design and fashion. While previously it was difficult for designers and consumers to come in contact with one another, several new venues have opened recently with precisely that goal.
One such place is Sine Nomine, a sleek, minimalist shop in the heart of Budapest. Just steps away from Oktogon, on Andrássy Avenue, the store leaves the color and pattern to the unique clothing and accessories within.
The items available at Sine Nomine represent both well-known designers as well as yet unknown talents. Every week there are new collections to browse, but you can also always find the collections of several established designers. Each designer has their own singular aesthetic, adding to the ideal mix available at Sine Nomine. The shop also brings their collection to the WAMP design fair, making it further available.
Luu Anh Tuan
Of Vietnamese origin, Luu Anh Tuan has been living in Hungary for 17 years now. He specializes in leather design and in the past year has toured almost all of Europe and Central, South and Southeast Asia, collecting inspiration from the broad mix of cultures. By exploring historical backgrounds and modern lifestyles in various countries, he has created a collection that is easily relevant in any culture.

Having graduated from the textile department of MOME, Pazicski is building his own brand. He mixes simple functionalism with everyday trends, while emphasizing patterns and keeping feminine silhouettes. His work also involves a mix of traditional and modern elements for a unique twist.
Adrien Nagy
During a scholarship at the London Fashion College, Nagy gained experience at Cony Nekea. She specializes in dresses, and enjoyed much success when her collection was shown in Bucharest. Her individual collection has been available in Budapest since the autumn of 2007, bringing her exciting combinations of patterns to this city.

Specializing in knitwear, Virág also gained experience at the London Fashion College alongside Nagy. In addition to her beautiful knitwear, she designs jewelry and accessories. At Sine Nomine, you can find her pieces made with pearls as well as scarves to complete the look.
