Where Czukor stands now was originally the site of Hungary’s first vegetarian restaurant. The new ownership continued to embrace vegetarian cuisine, yet also pledged to celebrate traditional Hungarian dishes as well as innovative Mediterranean cooking.
Now, Czukor’s master chefs guarantee that you will be blown away by the fragrant herbs, abundance of delicious vegetables, rich sauces and succulent meats on offer. Their special selection of ingredients, blended together by knowledgeable chefs, produce quality dishes, time after time.
The atmosphere of Czukor may take you back to times gone by, allowing classical black and white movies to be brought back into the limelight. Look around the restaurant walls and peruse the collection of pictures of actors and actresses from decades past. The atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect for meeting family or friends but at the same time is great for business events. Czukor has a seating capacity of 30-40 people (or 50-60 standing) and, upon request, they will gladly organize buffets, live music or a program tailored to your specific needs.
Meals and drinks come at realistic prices too; the lunchtime menu which runs from noon until 3 p.m. costs a mere 850 HUF and all food vouchers and major credit cards are accepted.
