Crystal Cow in the Museum of Applied Arts

The crystal cow returns to Budapest! This special cow took a trip to Vienna for two weeks to decorate the shop window of a café. Now it has returned to Budapest, straight to the Museum of Applied Arts.

The glittering bovine, called Milky Way, was dreamed up for the Cow Parade by the creators and of the Manooi Design Studio, János Héder and Judit Zoltai. Following the exhibition, the ErnstGallery purchased the art piece in a charity auction. Decorated with 13,500 Swarovski crystals and illuminated from within, this sparkling cow can be viewed until April 20th at the Museum of Applied Arts in the “The Noble Passion of Collecting – Art Works from Private Hungarian Collections” exhibition.
