Nestled on a side street below the castle and next to the Batthyány Market Hall is a new American-style coffee shop started by an enthusiastic couple who got their inspiration from eight years in the U.S. The space is cozy, with a terrace that looks out onto the Parliament.
You can pop by for a breakfast before heading up to see the castle or on the way down for an afternoon coffee and cake. They make all their sandwiches and cakes on-site and have real bagels. Their professional (English-speaking) baristas will whip up a delicious coffee, made to order. Open weekdays from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
