When people say ‘California’, what springs to mind? Here at FUNZINE, our first thoughts are that of coffee, darn good coffee too – courtesy of the California Coffee Company stores which are popping up all over, a now beverage-barmy, thanks to them, Budapest.
The CCC’s common promise is to give the customer a slice of America, now with brand spanking new transatlantic bites. First up, they have B-town’s biggest ever muffins (for the same price as before), in new flavors, too, the likes of black&white choc or Nutella as well as the good old ones, the ever-fave Milka or cranberry muffins. Also, you might get tempted by their new carrot cake with white chocolate topping or a slice of caramel cheesecake, mmm…
Also they’ve recently introduced their ‘pocket money menu’ – a turkey breast ham sandwich with a cuppa cappuccino, all in the usual CCC style and quality – for only 590 HUF. (It costs less than 2 BKV tickets…)
All this, plus their traditional arsenal of beautiful nutritious-looking baguettes, ciabattas and bagels (yes, bagels) and some devilish-looking sweet treats: think key lime pie, brownies and more!
