The story of Jooi Design all starts several years ago in Shanghai. That is where the two Danes Gitte Nielsen and Trine Targett, who own and run the company, first met up. Now, Jooi Design has transformed into a design company selling their products in selected shops, boutiques and department stores around Europe and Asia. The duo has not forgotten Shanghai and still maintains a Jooi Design Studio shop in the city.
Most recently, they have brought their beautiful designs and Danish style to a new retail space in Budapest. The shop inhabits a prime location on Szent Istvan Square, next to the Basilica. The clean and sleek designs provide a lovely contrast to the protected building they now reside in and are a unique addition to any home.
