At the Buda Castle, between September 7th and 20th, taste the best of Hungarian and foreign wines, meet their makers, become acquainted with the art of wine tasting and enjoy live music, dance and a great view over the Danube.

Art Exhibition
Through the medium of wine labels, this exhibition will aim to outline the history of wine-producing regions at home and abroad, from the 1870s onwards.

Wine Exhibition and Fair (Wine Festival)
The cream of Hungary’s winemakers, as well as select foreign producers, will present their finest produce. As well as the Freixenet Group, Spain’s Segura Viudas vineyard will feature, along with the regions of Rioja, Ribera del Duero and Proirato. Expect traditional Hungarian cuisine, modern fare and gourmet delights to accompany your tipples, alongside performances from Ghymes, Bartók Béla Férfikar, Cimbaliband, Csík Zenekar, folk dance groups and more. Harvest Celebration
On the weekend prior to the Wine Festival, there’ll be a two-day Harvest Celebration held at Szentendre’s Open-Air Folklore Museum (Skanzen).

Harvest Parade
The procession will consist of around 800 members of traditional groups from Spain, the wine orders, associations of wine lovers and folk dance groups, each representing different wine regions.
