Between March 16th and 30th, Hungarian National Television and the Budapest Spring Festival are hosting an outdoor photography exhibition in front of the television building on Szabadság tér and around the surrounding streets.
A hundred portraits of Transylvanians have been specially printed in large format for the exhibition in an effort to represent the traditionally multinational and culturally diverse region. Photos have been submitted by professional photographers from Hungary and Romania, and selected through a competition. They are all from after the year 2000, in order to draw attention to 21st century Transylvania, where various nationalities and cultures live side by side. Special displays have been built for the exhibition.
