Frey Wille’s Hommage á Claude Monet

Frey Wille, an internationally acclaimed enamel jewelry manufacturer with Viennese roots, was established in 1951 by the artist Michaela Frey, before being taken over by Dr. Friedrich Wille in 1980.

Its enamel collections are characterized by artistically authentic designs, inspired by historically relevant epochs, world-famous artists and contemporary style.

They’ve recently added to their collection, Hommage à Claude Monet, using impressionist floral motifs, dominated by red tones, which range from dark reds to orange through salmon and burnt yellows as well as soft pinks.

In the mid 1990s, the Claude Monet Foundation approached Frey Wille with the task of creating a collection as a homage to the impressionist painter. Thus, the concept of the Hommages (of which there have been a number) was born.
