Find anything from buckwheat to vegan sausages and fresh juices to chapatti breads. Inside you can find hip pieces of Art Nouveau, and pretty, metallic, vintage garden furniture. In the summer, sit outside on the terrace, under a protective awning and watch the world go by.

If you’d like to take lunch vegetarian Indian style, pop down the stairs of this small food bar and step into a cozy atmosphere of spices and spirituality. Menus are available for students as well as people who are a bit more hungry. Delicious chapattis accompany a selection of vegetable dishes and juices are always fresh. While you’re down there you might like to wander around the shop which offers various oriental treats.

Head over to this great little vegan, organic self service restaurant and juice bar to seek out daily changing combinations of wholegrains, seasonal, fresh vegetables, potatoes, tofu, herbs and spices and more. The daily lunch menu, priced at 850 HUF, usually includes a choice of főzelék (a cross between a soup and a stew), or a grain like bulgur or barley, combined with vegetables. It’s a small place, and it is popular, so get there in time for lunch!

Napfényes Étterem
This place is totally vegan in every way, but a look at its menu (different every day) will surprise you with its ability to keep it Hungarian. Of course there are more international flavors too, but you’ll get the chance to try vegan paprikás, pörkölt and stuffed cabbage, amongst various other options including pizza, pasta and a salad bar. Main dishes are around 1,200 HUF, but you can also get soups and warm sandwiches for around 500 HUF.
