Brazilian guitar virtuoso, percussionist and composer Alegre Correa has been a permanent member of international jazz hit The Zawinul Syndicate since 2005.
Coming from distinct musical and cultural backgrounds, the artists blend Brazilian and European folklore with American jazz to create unusual, awe-inducing sounds that brought fame and recognition to the formation. The apropos of Correa’s upcoming concert in the Hungarian capital at the Óbudai Társaskör is, among others, the album launch of the duo formed by him and top Hungarian percussionist Kornél Horváth. Expect some great rythms and an exciting combination of diverse music and culture. The impact of the night will be furthered by Hungarian jazz staple László Dés.
