Building on the experiences of and the reactions to the seven female solos of T.E.S.T., Krisztián Gergye composed seven solos for male bodies, too, thus continuing his experiments in the laboratory of movement searching for the body’s gaze.
‘The second part leads us from appearance to the depth: these less scenic figures do not cry out for remedy, since they’re the protectors themselves; they resign to their fate as titans wandering in solitude from times immemorial. (…) They come from the darkness of the womb, plunge into the light, and then melt into black again.’ Performers are from CEDT and Gergye’s own company.
