Culture up, Magyar style!

January 22nd is the anniversary of the birth of the Magyar national anthem, Himnusz, written by poet Ferenc Kölcsey in 1823. In 1989, this day was chosen to celebrate Hungarian culture, so now it’s the perfect time to stop making excuses, for all of us, and dive into it all!

Anyway, country-wide celebrations and colorful cultural events are the best cure for grey and dull January days. Expect concerts, literary nights, film festivals, theater productions and more!
