Don’t be deceived by this bar’s simple name, as The Winebar is a wine and culture lover’s Mecca. It offers an impressive selection of wines from Hungary, as well as collections from almost every wine producing country in the world.
Of course, there are plenty of appropriate wine snacks too! And did we mention it is simply bursting with culture? Until 30th of September, Bianca Otero’s photos will adorn the walls of The Winebar Gallery. What’s more, every night at The Winebar is a music night, with live Jazz and Latin music by the most well-known performers and their sometimes very special guests.
The Monday Night Jazz Club, with János Egri, showcases such great musicians as Zoltán Zana, Mihály Dresch, Frankie Látó, or Roland Balogh. In the Gloomy Sunday Club, expect reduced prices and the delightful piano music of Ferenc Darvas. The overall opinion about the place is that it’s cheaper than at home but a lot friendlier.
