The Budapest branch of cafebabel.com‘s mission is to be at the white-heat of young Europe’s intercultural dialogue. They’ll be at the Sziget Festival’s Civil Sziget again this year. Read on to find out how to get involved…

August 14th, 1 p.m.: Krisztán Grecsó, writer, literary editor (Hun)
August 15th, 1 p.m.: András Lovasi from Kispál és a Borz (Hun)
As usual, coffee and cakes will be served!
August 16th, 2.30 p.m.: A huge debate of young Europeans will be organized by the cafebabel.com Budapest team on the topic of illegal music downloading and file-sharing and their sanctions.
After the well-known lawsuit of the torrent-site, Pirate Bay, a problem that’s faced all young people listening to music has arisen again. Where better to discuss this issue than the Sziget Festival, where Budapest and pretty much everyone in it will be devoting a week to music and everything it involves. Cafebabel.com, as one the most visible channels of European dialogue, will be presenting the important aspects of this issue to the audience and performers of the Festival. During the one and a half hour long conversation, four guest speakers will share their views on the topic. A huge crowd is expected.
