Have you ever walked into a book? Plenty of times virtually, no doubt, but now you can try it in a physical space as well. Impex, a “Cultural Provider”, is presenting a spatial book, a complex installation, a visualization and extension of thoughts into space to celebrate their temporary residence in the Trafó Gallery.
Impex – an independent, open-structure art venue run by a bunch of young people of different professional backgrounds – formerly operated in the now demolished pub West Balkan. Without a roof over their heads difficulties arose, causing them to rethink their activities and plans, leading to this experiment. The result of the process is a planned book on the current state of art as Impex has observed it. During this trial period, Trafó Gallery will function as an editorial office, a workshop place and a community platform.
