Pszeudo in Berlin by Gyula Pauer

From the sculptor behind the Shoes on the Danube Promenade memorial comes a new sculpture exhibition at the Symbol Art Gallery.

Gyula Pauer was born in Budapest in 1941, where he attended art school and apprenticed under Alajos DeBattista. He later developed the concept of “pseudo-art” when he became in the underground avant-garde movement. The 1970s saw him turn to the world of theater, broadening his artistic scope.
