Bor és a Társa, which means Wine and its Partners, offers a broad selection of Hungarian wines and all the quality products that ‘partner’ it, from cold cuts and cheeses to Riedel glassware and stylish wine accessories.

Téglásy and all the staff at Bor és a Társa are certified wine experts, who can advise you on the best wines for a meal, a party or a gift. The shop has its own wholesale supplier company, guaranteeing its independence and allowing the staff full freedom in choosing the wines that fill the shelves. Téglásy favors wines from both Eger and Villány, but also carries wines from other regions of Hungary, and from other countries as well.
“We concentrate on Hungarian wines, not necessarily from the most famous vintners but from young, talented winemakers whose wines we have tasted personally,” says Téglásy, who counts Gábor Kiss from Villány, Tamás Sike from Eger, János Németh from Szekszárd and Ákos Kamocsay of Mór in that category.
The glass deli counter opposite the rows and rows of bottles illustrates its role as the accompaniment to the wines. From goose liver pâté to Parma ham, stuffed olives to marinated artichokes, ravioli to truffles, chèvre to cheddar, here you will find those rarities in Hungary that are the natural complement to a glass of Pinot Noir, Merlot or Kékfrankos.

Bor és Társa hosts wine-tastings, including a dinner on December 20th featuring Gábor Kiss introducing his wines, at XO Bistro, and are happy to arrange one for any personal or corporate occasion. At the shop, two wines are always available for tasting, and from January, the shop will become a wine bar as well, with tables in the courtyard at the MOM Park mall.
