Between 23 and 29 July, the city of Győr will host Hungary’s first Olympic Games, the EYOF, presenting the talented youth of Europe.
The Olympic Flame arrives to Győr on 24 May, traveling all the way from Rome. An official welcoming ceremony will take place at the City Hall from 6 PM that afternoon attended by EYOF Ambassadors and Olympic winners Krisztián Pars, Krisztián Berki, and World Champions Anita Görbicz, Zsuzsanna Jakabos and Hedvig Karakas. On the weekend between 27 and 28 May, the Flame starts its tour around the country. From Győr to Nyíregyháza, you will have a chance to see it – or even run with it – in several cities across Hungary.
