The first and biggest dog friendly beach of Lake Balaton opened its gates back in 2016. Since then, it has been awaiting those who wouldn’t like to leave their pets alone at home while relaxing on the beach. Located close to the railway station and the harbour of Fonyód, this beautiful place is the perfect scenery for a family day or a romantic getaway, what’s more, your dog can have tons of fun, too! The nearby Vígadó tér will host the popular Dog Beach Fest, the weekend of dogs and pet owners between 14 and 16 July with a series of great programs and concerts!
