Series That We Cannot Stop Watching This Year

This year doesn’t lack either brand new series or new seasons of well-known series. Here’s seven of the ones we recommend you to watch.

Big Little Lies

HBO started to broadcast this dark comedy-drama miniseries only a few weeks ago. The cast speaks for itself: it includes Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and Shailene Woodley who play three small town mothers with a seemingly perfect life. This guise is only a big little lie though.

Sherlock

The first episode of the new fourth season was first aired on 1 January, and overall received both negative and positive critique. Still, if you followed and loved the previous seasons, give yourself the closure you want by watching the last one as well.

Prison Break Sequel

This April the newest season of Prison Break is coming. The new trailers promise a good story line (which is only slightly similar to the previous ones), and the return of our favorite characters including Michael, Lincoln, Sara, and C-note.

Taboo

James Keziah Delaney (Tom Hardy) is a 19th century’s adventurer who returns to his hometown to take over his father’s shipping business. Tom Hardy’s excellence is a good enough reason to watch ‘Taboo’.

24: Legacy

We said goodbye to Jack Bauer in 2010, and would have never thought then that the pioneering ’24’ series would return ever again. We were wrong. ’24: Legacy’ is here with a new cast, in the same format.

Six

The HBO miniseries tells a true story: The American Navy SEAL team Six is on a mission in Afghanistan trying to eliminate a Taliban leader when they find an American soldier working with the enemy.

Legion

In the centre of this comic book adaptation series there is David Haller, a schizophrenic man in his thirties. The multiple personalities he owns together with his unique narration style make the series outstanding, mostly because we have never seen anything similar before.
