At the end of August you can enjoy two separate music festivals around Lake Balaton giving the closure to your summer that it genuinely deserves.
Party with Real Superstars at Strand Festival
The last weekend of August promises tons of excitement to those who decide to visit Zamárdi: move to the beats of You Me at Six, delivering thrilling pop tunes along with some kickass riffs, dance under the cloudless sky during the performance of Norwegian DJ/producer Alan Walker, or jump up and down to the craziest beats of energetic Wilkinson! Alle Farben comes all the way from Berlin to transmit the special German party experience, while John Newman and Bastille will surely put a stunning show on stage to amaze their local audience, too. Young and talented Icona Pop also makes an appearance, so there’ll be plenty of fun by the peaceful waters of Lake Balaton.
Besides the impressive line of international stars, you can see some of the most prominent Hungarian bands within the confines of STRAND Festival between 23 and 27 August: 30Y, Halott Pénz, Brains, Fran Palermo, Esti Kornél, Hiperkarma will all add to your unforgettable festival experience!
Enjoy the best electronic tunes at B.my.Lake
Although it’s only celebrating its fifth anniversary this year, the name of Central Europe’s largest open-air electronic music festival, B.my.Lake surely rings a bell even to people far from Hungary. At the end of August, a number of DJs will be ramping up the bass in Zamárdi at three separate stages on the shores of Lake Balaton, including such legends as Sven Väth, Solomun, Loco Dice, Adam Beyer, Dixon, or Sam Paganini.
B.my.Lake opens its gates on 23 August 2017 and brings you the biggest and most influential acts in contemporary techno, tech-house, minimal and house music, supported by unique visual and sound elements.
