What is one of the world’s biggest flight ticket search engine Skyscanner’s local headquarters like? What does an internationally acclaimed data scientist do? How can you work in a modern environment and for the same rate of wages from Budapest? Between 20 and 21 April, you can meet the best startups and tech firms as close to 200 companies open their offices to let students, parents, specialists, job seekers and the curious ones have a closer look within the confines of Startup Safary organized at several locations around the Hungarian capital.
“It’s not just an ordinary conference, but a two-day startup festival with 300 programmes and thousands of participants across the city: breakfasts, office tours, professional discussions, presentations, workshops and cool parties at night, of course. If you’re smart enough, you might get some job offers, too!” – said Péter Kovács, head of the organizer team.
Who can you meet?
The presentation genius Prezi has been praised many times, however, there’ll be less known but very successful companies, too: Distinction, a firm bought by the leading online flight ticket search engine Skyscanner or LogMeIn that can gain a 1 million dollar turnover this year. Emarsys became famous for their marketing based software and Bitrise made it into the three-month incubator programme of the first-rank company Y Combinator. Listen to the success stories of Chris McCann, founder of StartupDigest, Alex Farcet co-founder Startupbootcamp and Kunal Sachdeva, a leading figure of Ernst & Young, etc.
Anyone Can Start a New Profession
The event offers 13 thematic routes so everyone can choose the right path. Make sure you take a closer look at the lives of the most interesting companies or hear the most exciting and relevant talks and presentations! Péter Kovács says that besides the newest developments in IT, a wide range of different fields like marketing, education, gastronomy or lifestyle coaching will also present themselves during this year’s Startup Safary.
