Joshua Smith’s houses are so tiny, yet so detailed, you have to look with a magnifying glass! The buildings are modeled of a real apartment block in Kowloon City, Hong Kong, and the only thing missing is a mini-person to appear around them!
“I want viewers to be fooled, if I take a photo of the completed work in sunlight, to think it is the real thing”- the Australian artist told ArchDaily. Due to the dust, graffiti, tiny advertisements, and other touches perfectly placed, the artwork looks so realistic, you won’t believe they are doll-sized!
