Besides its magical winter atmosphere and wonderful artisan products,\u00a0the number one Christmas fair of Budapest that takes place on V\u00f6r\u00f6smarty t\u00e9r awaits the passersby with unique gastronomical programs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thanks to the organizer Budapest Festival and Tourism Centre and the local producers the Christmas fair on V\u00f6r\u00f6smarty t\u00e9r doesn’t lack in the wide selection of warming mulled wine, coffee, chocolate, different kinds of cheese, sausage as well as traditional Hungarian dishes such as stuffed cabbage.<\/p>\n

From Tuesday to Sunday open kitchen and food tasting take place every week, but wine will flow too: wine writer Rich\u00e1rd N\u00e9meth (Wine Flow) will guide you into the world of wines. The Hungarian cuisine is not the only one that is represented on the fair: you can also taste the culinary masterpieces of the Carpathian Basin. Tokaji wine, Hungarian coffee and chocolate, different types of premium p\u00e1linka made of fruit and vegetables, the delicacies of the Balaton area such as T\u00f6rek beans and Keszthely sturgeons are only some of the specialties you can try at the fair.<\/p>\n

The main stage of the Advent gastro revolution is the 90\u00a0m2 hut bistro which amaze the fair-goers\u00a0with its open kitchen. The latter allows us to get an insight into the secrets of the gastronomy of the Carpathian Basin.<\/p>\n

The spotlight will be shed on trotters, sausages and stuffed cabbage provided by XXL Catering, Piknik Centrum, Alem Duna, Anonymus Bar&More, Katlan T\u00f3ni konyh\u00e1ja and \u00c9l\u00e9skamra Gasztro – all presented with a little twist.<\/p>\n
