Bruce Dickinson is considered one of the world’s most storied musicians. Aside from decades spent delivering high-octane performances with his larger-than-life persona in IRON MAIDEN, Bruce has lived an extraordinary off-stage existence too. A true polymath, Bruce is, or has been, an airline pilot and captain, an aviation entrepreneur, a beer brewer, motivational speaker, film scriptwriter, twice-published novelist and best-selling author, radio presenter, TV actor and international fencer.

The 2017 publication of his New York Times & UK Times Best-Seller autobiography What Does This Button Do? saw Bruce promoting the book by undertaking a small number of readings and Q&A in theatres around the UK. What Does This Button Do? – An Evening With Bruce Dickinson has since evolved into a full-blown one-man show, more akin to a stand-up comedian’s routine, lasting well over two hours and touring the globe to critical acclaim, including a sold-out performance last summer at the largest arts festival in the world, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Split into two parts, the first half of the show sees Bruce taking a humorous, often satirical look back at his colourful, roller-coaster life. Delivering compelling tales in his uniquely anarchic style and punctuated with photographs, he recounts anecdotes not just from the book, but others deemed either too risqué or otherwise to have made the final edit…..!

The second half of the evening is devoted entirely to a Q&A session, where fans’ quirky, frank and often completely leftfield questions are tackled with completely improvised – and invariably quick-witted – responses by Bruce, all of which makes for a highly entertaining and enjoyable night out.  Do not miss this unique opportunity to witness one of the world’s most captivating icons in an intimate environment when Bruce Dickinson brings his one-man show for the very first time to Budapest. In these 50 years, they have become Germany’s, or rather Continental Europe’s most successful rock band, the living proof that not only VW, Mercedes or BMW are able to compete internationally, but classic rock music made in Germany as well. Countless bands, including the Smashing Pumpkins as well as Green Day, Korn, System Of A Down or Queensryche have covered songs by the Scorpions throughout the years. “Rock You Like A Hurricane” on its own was covered over 150 times by different musicians.

Expressing a career like the one of the Scorpions in mere numbers is almost impossible. However, one number that should still be mentioned is more than 100 million records sold to date. This makes the Scorpions the most successful rock band of Europe. However, countless silver, gold and platinum awards are only one side of the Scorpions’ history. Another is their unabated desire to travel. No other rock band of their caliber after so many years takes to the stage as often as the Hannover natives. They have played thousands of concerts in all corners of the planet: in Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, Moscow, Washington, Dubai, Paris or Berlin.

There were many magic live moments; some of them are captured on live albums, others on film and video recordings. These are the moments, which have cemented the Scorpions’ reputation as one of the rare bands rising far above the crowd. This unique band will stop with their brand new show on 18 November, 2019 in Budapest Arena! Tickets for the Budapest show are now available via www.livenation.hu, and www.funcode.hu.

When he announced his highly anticipated 2017 European stadium tour last November, we all jumped for joy: his previous concerts in the Hungarian capital were all truly unforgettable. The twenty-nine shows across the continent in eighteen countries opening on 2 June in Manchester’s Etihad Stadium promise a lot of thrilling moments with the all-time charmer. On the tour, Erasure will be joining Robbie Williams as special guests.

The 43 year-old singer doesn’t seem to be thinking about retiring, yet. Though he settled down and became a family man with two children, he still manages to climb on top of the charts. One of his latest achievements was receiving the prestigious BRITs Icon Award last autumn which is the highest accolade given by the BRIT Awards and has only been given to such acclaimed musicians as Elton John and David Bowie. It can only be received by such outstanding artists whose writings, recordings and performances have set them apart and made a lasting impact on British culture. Therefore, it is considered to be the highest level of acknowledgement in the music industry of the United Kingdom.

On 23 August, Williams will take the stage at Groupama Arena, presenting another astonishing show in that special way which has marked his performances in the last decades. Tickets for the Budapest concert are available only in limited numbers via www.livenation.hu and in Ticketpro network, so hurry up and make sure you don’t miss out on the event!
