Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Department of Textile Design Presents: streams of Fashion The students of the MOME textile department will embark upon a particularly innovative venture at Trafó, transforming its theatre into a multitude of catwalks for one night only. The show promises to be unusual, to say the least. Models and dancers are set to show up at unexpected moments from every possible direction, and the practically theatrical performance will present the collections of MOME graduates and third and fourth year students. Don’t expect to see a ready-to-wear collection, since the students and artists experiment with various forms and functions, concentrating on the novelty and originality of design. The show will also present the various phases of design, exploring how an idea becomes either a piece of clothing or an extravagant haute couture piece of art. March 5, 7 p.m. & 9 p.m.
